This typeface presents a compact, geometric construction with sharply cut terminals and frequent wedge-like notches that create an incised, chiseled feel. Curves are smooth but often interrupted by straight-sided cuts, producing a strong interplay between round bowls and angular joins. Stroke contrast is expressed through thick vertical masses against thinner internal strokes and cut-ins, while counters are generally tight, giving the letters a dense, poster-ready texture. Lowercase forms keep a straightforward, single-storey rhythm with sturdy stems and minimal modulation beyond the characteristic cut terminals.

Best suited for large-scale typography where its carved details and contrast can be appreciated—headlines, posters, identity work, packaging, and logo wordmarks. It can also work for short bursts of UI or editorial display text when ample size and generous spacing are available, but it is less optimized for long-form reading at small sizes.

The overall tone is bold and graphic, with a slightly mischievous edge created by the carved-in details. It feels contemporary and attention-seeking, balancing modern geometry with a hint of vintage poster drama. The effect is confident and energetic rather than neutral or purely utilitarian.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact with a distinctive, repeatable cut-terminal motif that differentiates it from neutral grotesques. It aims for a sculpted, graphic look that remains clean and geometric while adding personality through incised details and tight, weighty silhouettes.

Many glyphs feature distinctive diagonal cutouts and wedge terminals (notably in curves like C/G/S and in joins on letters such as K/R), which become a defining motif across the set. Apertures tend to be relatively closed and counters compact, so the design reads best when given enough size and spacing to let the internal shapes stay clear.
