A heavy, right-leaning slab serif with broad proportions and firmly bracketed, block-like serifs. Strokes show clear thick–thin modulation, with tightened joins and small ink-trap–like notches where diagonals and curves meet (notably in letters like K, V, W, and the bowls). Counters are relatively compact for the weight, and curves are sturdy and rounded without becoming soft. The lowercase has a single-storey a and g, a sturdy, vertical-stem d, and a prominent, high-contrast i/j dot, giving the set a punchy, compact rhythm in text. Numerals are bold and open, with a strong, poster-friendly silhouette and consistent italic slant.

Best suited to bold headlines, poster typography, sports or team-style branding, and packaging where a sturdy, high-impact voice is needed. It can also work for editorial lead-ins and pull quotes, particularly when set with generous line spacing to keep the texture from becoming too dark.

The overall tone is assertive and energetic, with a vintage, print-forward flavor. Its chunky slabs and forward slant create a sporty, headline-driven feel while still reading as purposeful and workmanlike rather than delicate.

The font appears designed to deliver maximum impact with a classic slab-serif backbone, combining a forward-leaning stance with compact, reinforced details that resist filling in at large sizes. Its shapes prioritize strong silhouettes and punchy word images for attention-grabbing display use.

The design relies on large, simple interior shapes and strong terminals, so it holds together well at display sizes and in short bursts. The pronounced serifs and tight internal spacing can start to darken in dense paragraphs, especially in all-caps settings.
