A flared, serifed display face with sharp wedge terminals and pronounced stroke contrast. The outlines are intentionally rough, with irregular edges and occasional interior scuffing and voids that mimic worn metal type or degraded ink. Letterforms keep a mostly classical, Roman skeleton, but the surface texture and uneven stroke fill create a lively, broken rhythm across words. Spacing appears fairly open, helping the distressed details remain legible at moderate sizes while emphasizing the font’s rugged silhouette.

Best suited for display applications where texture is an asset: posters, covers, editorial headlines, packaging, and title cards. It can also work well for themed branding and entertainment graphics, especially when paired with a cleaner text face for body copy.

The overall tone feels antique and slightly ominous, like aged printing from an old broadside or a weathered book title. Its distressed texture adds grit and tension, lending a theatrical, eerie energy without fully abandoning traditional typographic structure.

The design appears intended to combine a classic serif framework with a deliberately degraded print surface, capturing the feel of vintage type that has been distressed by time, rough paper, or imperfect inking. The goal is strong silhouette readability at display sizes while delivering an immediately atmospheric, tactile impression.

Round letters show the most visible abrasion, with mottled counters and patched-looking ink that reads like wear or overprinting. Caps and lowercase share the same treatment, keeping the texture consistent across mixed-case setting, while numerals maintain the same chiseled, worn character for cohesive titling.
