This is a slanted serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a lively, calligraphic stroke rhythm. Serifs are bracketed and softly tapered, with visible entry/exit strokes that give many forms a slightly handwritten momentum. Uppercase shapes are broad and stable, while the lowercase shows more motion and curvature, including a single-storey “a” and a flowing “g” with a generous lower bowl. Figures are proportional and similarly slanted, with rounded terminals and clear contrast that matches the letterforms.

Well-suited to editorial settings such as magazines, book jackets, and pull quotes where an expressive serif italic can add emphasis and tone. It can also work effectively for formal invitations and brand identities that want a classic, cultivated feel, especially at text-to-display sizes where the contrast and bracketed serifs remain clear.

The overall tone is traditional and literary, with a refined, bookish presence that still feels warm and human rather than rigidly mechanical. Its energetic slant and calligraphic detailing suggest elegance and persuasion, lending a classic, editorial voice.

The design appears intended to provide a conventional, readable serif voice with an intentionally calligraphic italic flavor—balancing familiar book-type proportions with more expressive strokes and tapered detailing for elegance and emphasis in continuous text.

Round characters (C, O, Q) show smooth, open counters and graceful stress, while diagonals (K, V, W, X) maintain strong contrast without looking brittle. The italic character is consistent across letters and numerals, and the texture in running text reads as rhythmic and slightly animated rather than strictly uniform.
