A condensed, high-contrast roman with slightly flared terminals and a lightly serifed, hand-cut silhouette. Strokes show pronounced ink traps and roughened contours, with pitted interiors and irregular edges that mimic worn printing or dry-brush inking. Counters are generally open and legible, while stroke joins and curves vary subtly from glyph to glyph, creating an organic rhythm. Numerals and capitals maintain a consistent skeleton, but the texture introduces lively, uneven color across lines of text.

Best suited to display use where the distressed surface can be appreciated: posters, headlines, packaging, labels, and editorial titling. It can also work for short pull quotes or subheads when a handcrafted, vintage tone is desired, but the texture may feel heavy for small-size body text or low-resolution applications.

The overall tone feels handmade and timeworn—like lettering pulled from an old poster, stamped label, or weathered book jacket. Its imperfect texture adds character and a slightly mischievous, eclectic energy, reading as both nostalgic and crafty rather than polished or corporate.

The design appears intended to combine a traditional condensed roman skeleton with deliberate print-wear artifacts, producing a font that feels historically referential yet expressive. Its primary goal is to deliver instant atmosphere—handmade, slightly chaotic texture—while retaining recognizable letterforms for readable display typography.

The distressed texture is strong enough to become a visible pattern at larger sizes, where the speckling and edge break-up read as intentional materiality. In longer passages, the rough stroke edges create a darker, more mottled text color than a clean face with the same structure.
