A condensed, hand-drawn display face with irregular stroke edges and a dry-brush/inked texture that creates subtle internal speckling and broken contours. Letterforms are mostly upright with simplified, slightly quirky construction, mixing narrow bowls and tapered terminals with occasional bulbous ends. Curves are imperfect and slightly wobbly, and spacing feels intentionally uneven, reinforcing a handmade rhythm. Numerals and capitals maintain the same distressed texture, giving the set a consistent worn-print look.

Works well for headlines and short bursts of text in Halloween promotions, horror or mystery posters, escape-room branding, and game/film titles. It can also add character to packaging or labels that aim for an aged, apothecary, or occult vibe, especially where a rough printed texture is desired.

The overall tone feels eerie and playful—more storybook-horror than truly menacing. Its rough, inky texture and jittery outlines suggest something aged, homemade, or pulled from a mysterious pamphlet, making it well suited to supernatural, macabre, and folklore-leaning themes.

This design appears intended to mimic distressed hand lettering—like ink dragged over textured paper or worn letterpress output—while keeping enough structure for readable display typography. The goal seems to be strong thematic atmosphere with a compact footprint and a deliberately imperfect, human feel.

Texture is a defining feature, so the font reads best when the distressed edges can be seen; at very small sizes the roughness may collapse into darker blobs. The condensed proportions help it fit long words in tight spaces, but the irregular widths and quirky shapes keep it from feeling mechanical.
