A heavy, display-oriented serif with brash wedge-like terminals and a compact, low x-height that gives the lowercase a stout, old-style stance. Strokes show pronounced thick–thin behavior with abrupt transitions and irregular, chipped contours, as if printed from a worn plate or stamped with over-inked edges. Counters are relatively tight and sometimes partially clogged by texture, while overall spacing remains readable but deliberately uneven in a handcrafted way. The figures match the letterforms’ rugged construction, with similarly distressed edges and slightly idiosyncratic widths across characters.

Best suited for short, attention-grabbing typography such as posters, cover titles, packaging callouts, and event branding where the distressed detailing can be appreciated. It can also work for brief subheads or pull quotes at generous sizes, but the rough edges and tight counters make it less ideal for long, small-size body text.

The font conveys an antique, slightly ominous mood—part vintage broadside, part pulp-horror title card. Its distressed bite and inky darkness feel loud and theatrical, suggesting age, grit, and a touch of mischief rather than polish or neutrality.

The design appears intended to emulate rugged, timeworn printing—an assertive serif voice with deliberate imperfections that read as vintage and dramatic. Its goal is to provide instant character and atmosphere, prioritizing impact and texture over smooth regularity.

The texture is consistent across caps, lowercase, and numerals, with edge wear and occasional interior speckling that becomes more prominent at larger sizes. Capitals read particularly emphatic due to their weight and sharp, flared serifs, while the short lowercase proportions reinforce a compact, old-world rhythm in text settings.
