A tightly condensed serif with strong vertical emphasis and high contrast between sturdy stems and narrow joins. Stroke endings flare into wedge-like terminals, creating pointed, ink-trap-like openings in places and giving many letters a carved, tapered finish. The serifs are sharp and angular rather than blocky, and the overall texture is dark and rhythmic, with compact counters and a tall, poster-like silhouette. Numerals follow the same condensed, high-impact construction, reading cleanly at display sizes.

Best suited to display applications such as headlines, posters, mastheads, and packaging where a condensed, high-impact voice is needed. It also works well for book covers and short pull quotes, especially when you want a classic, engraved-meets-poster feel.

The face projects a bold, vintage editorial tone—confident, slightly dramatic, and reminiscent of classic posters and headline typography. Its sharp flares and narrow proportions add a theatrical edge that feels assertive and attention-seeking rather than quiet or neutral.

The design appears intended to maximize impact in limited horizontal space while retaining a traditional serif identity. Flared terminals and sharp wedge serifs provide a distinctive silhouette that reads as classic and dramatic, optimized for prominent display settings.

The narrow set and tight interior spaces make the design feel most comfortable with generous tracking and ample line spacing. Pointed terminals and compressed counters can create dense spots in longer text, while in large sizes they become a defining stylistic feature.
