A rough, typewriter-like serif with softly bracketed, slab-leaning serifs and visibly irregular contours. Strokes stay fairly even in thickness, but the outlines show wobble, blunted terminals, and small nicks that mimic worn metal type or imperfect inking. Counters are open and simple, with a slightly condensed feel in some letters and subtle, inconsistent glyph widths that keep the rhythm organic rather than strictly mechanical. Figures and capitals share the same distressed, inked texture, maintaining a consistent, lightly eroded print color across the set.

Works well for headlines, posters, book covers, and title treatments where a worn, typewritten or printed-on-paper impression is desirable. It can also support short editorial passages, pull quotes, and packaging or labels that benefit from an aged, handcrafted texture, especially when paired with simple layouts and ample spacing.

The overall tone reads as vintage and utilitarian, with a tactile, imperfect character that feels pulled from old correspondence, dossiers, or archival ephemera. Its roughened edges add grit and authenticity, creating a mood that’s more human and analog than pristine or corporate.

This design appears intended to capture the look of aged typewriter or letterpress output—maintaining classic serif construction while introducing irregular edges and ink-like artifacts for a convincingly analog finish.

In continuous text, the distressed texture becomes a steady grain rather than isolated damage, giving blocks of copy a cohesive, slightly noisy color. The italic is not evident; the forms remain upright with modest, traditional serif structure and straightforward lettershapes.
