A high-contrast serif with strong vertical emphasis and extremely thin hairlines paired with sturdy main strokes. Serifs are sharp and crisp with little visible bracketing, giving the outlines a precise, engraved feel. Capitals read tall and formal with pointed joins (notably in A, V, W) and smooth, controlled curves in rounds like O and C. The lowercase shows a conventional book face structure with a two-storey a and g, compact bowls, and clean, narrow joins; details like the g ear, the curved j descender, and occasional ball-like terminals add a touch of calligraphic finesse without becoming decorative. Numerals follow the same contrast logic and include delicate, tapered strokes and elegant curves.

Best suited to display and editorial roles such as magazine headlines, fashion and lifestyle layouts, and premium brand identities. It can work for short passages in well-printed environments, but it particularly shines in larger sizes where the hairlines, serifs, and sculpted curves are most legible and expressive.

The overall tone is polished and upscale, with a fashion/editorial flavor and a distinctly classical, old-world refinement. Its dramatic stroke contrast and razor-like serifs create a confident, high-end presence that feels suited to premium branding and sophisticated layouts.

The font appears designed to deliver a contemporary take on a classic high-contrast book/Didone-like idiom: elegant proportions, strict verticality, and refined details that project prestige. Its letterforms balance traditional serif construction with crisp, modern finishing to create a sophisticated display voice that also remains readable in controlled text settings.

The design maintains a consistent rhythm across text, with clear vertical alignment and well-controlled counters; at larger sizes the hairlines and sharp terminals become a key visual feature. In dense settings, the extreme contrast and fine serifs will reward careful size and reproduction choices so the thin strokes remain intact.
