A compact, display-oriented serif with pronounced flaring at stroke endings and sharp, triangular cut-ins that create a chiseled silhouette. The letterforms show strong thick–thin modulation and a sculptural, poster-like rhythm, with teardrop and ball terminals appearing in several lowercase forms. Counters are often shaped by angled incisions rather than conventional curves, producing distinctive internal wedges and notched joins. Numerals and capitals follow the same carved logic, with broad bowls and crisp, faceted transitions that read best at larger sizes.

Best suited to headlines, posters, and other large-size display settings where its carved details can be appreciated. It can add character to branding, packaging, and short editorial callouts, particularly when you want a vintage or theatrical feel. For longer passages, it works more as an accent than a primary text face.

The overall tone is bold and theatrical, evoking vintage signage and editorial headline styling with a slightly mischievous, ornamental edge. Its sharp insets and flared endings add a sense of drama and motion, while the rounded terminals keep the mood from feeling severe.

The design appears intended to deliver a high-impact, decorative serif with a carved, flared-stroke personality. Its consistent use of angled cut-ins and sculpted terminals suggests a focus on memorable shapes and strong title-card presence rather than neutrality.

In text samples, the dense black shapes and lively internal cuts create strong texture and visual sparkle, but the angular incisions can reduce clarity in tight settings. It benefits from generous tracking and line spacing to let the distinctive counters and notches remain legible.
