This typeface uses heavy, sculpted letterforms with pronounced thick–thin contrast and tapered, flaring stroke terminals that read like wedge serifs. Curves are broad and tightly controlled, with small inner counters in many letters and a generally compact aperture strategy that reinforces a dense, ink-rich color. The proportions lean expansive, while the rhythm remains steady due to consistent vertical stress and disciplined serif/terminal treatment across capitals, lowercase, and figures. Numerals follow the same carved, high-contrast construction, pairing sturdy verticals with sharp, narrowing joins and terminals.

Best suited for display typography such as headlines, poster titles, book or album covers, and mastheads where its sculptural contrast and flared endings can carry the visual hierarchy. It can also work for bold branding or packaging applications that benefit from a classic, high-impact serif presence.

The overall tone is bold and ceremonial, combining a traditional serif voice with a poster-like sense of impact. Its sharp tapers and dark massing give it a dramatic, declarative presence that can feel theatrical, historical, and slightly ornamental without becoming delicate.

The design appears intended to deliver a commanding display serif with an engraved, flared-stroke aesthetic—prioritizing impact, contrast, and a distinctive carved rhythm over neutral readability at small sizes.

In text, the heavy weight and narrow counters create strong word shapes and a tight internal texture, which favors larger sizes where the detailing and tapering can be appreciated. The flared terminals add momentum to strokes, giving lines a chiseled, engraved character rather than a purely geometric one.
