A lightly slanted serif with clearly calligraphic construction and gently bracketed serifs. Strokes show a subtle thick–thin modulation with smooth transitions, producing an even, flowing texture in text. The capitals are elegant and slightly tapered, with open counters and restrained terminals, while the lowercase has a modest x-height, long ascenders, and softly curved joins that keep the rhythm lively without becoming decorative. Numerals follow the same italic, old-style feel, with rounded forms and careful spacing that reads comfortably in continuous setting.

Well suited for book and long-form editorial typography as an italic companion for emphasis, titles within text, and quotations. It also fits refined branding contexts—such as packaging, menus, and cultural programs—where a traditional, personable italic voice is desired without sacrificing readability.

The overall tone feels literary and cultivated, like a traditional book italic used for emphasis and quotation. Its warm, human touch and controlled elegance evoke classical printing and editorial environments rather than overt display styling.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic, humanist italic with a gentle calligraphic pulse—prioritizing smooth reading rhythm, elegant emphasis, and a timeless print-like character across letters and numerals.

In the sample text, the face maintains a consistent baseline flow and a calm, readable color, with the italic angle providing movement without looking hurried. Curved letters and diagonal forms (notably in the capitals and the v/w/y shapes) reinforce the handwritten influence, while the serifs stay crisp enough to preserve typographic clarity.
