A high-contrast serif with strongly bracketed, flaring serifs and rounded, sculpted joins that give the strokes a carved, calligraphic feel. The rhythm is lively: thick verticals and bowls are paired with hairline cross-strokes and tapered terminals, producing sharp highlights in letters like E, F, T, and the diagonals of V and W. Counters are generally generous and round, with a slightly high-waisted look in several lowercase forms; the lowercase shows compact, sturdy stems with pronounced teardrop/ball-like terminals on forms such as a and f. Numerals follow the same display-driven contrast and have elegant hairline details with a refined, old-style character in their proportions.

Best suited to headlines, magazine display typography, and brand identities that need a refined, high-contrast serif presence. It can work for short pull quotes, titles, and packaging where its sculpted details can be appreciated, especially at medium to large sizes.

The overall tone is dramatic and polished, projecting a sense of tradition and formality with a fashionable, editorial edge. Its crisp hairlines and flared serifs read as premium and expressive rather than purely utilitarian, making it feel suited to high-end, attention-grabbing typography.

The design appears intended as a modern, conventional serif for display use, emphasizing contrast, elegance, and a distinctive flared/bracketed serif vocabulary. It aims to deliver a strong editorial voice while maintaining familiar text-serif structures for readable word shapes.

In text settings the heavy main strokes create a strong color on the page, while the thin connections and serifs add sparkle; this favors larger sizes where the hairlines can remain clear. The italic is not shown, and the roman letterforms lean on soft curvature and pronounced tapering to create motion without slant.
