A condensed display serif with strong vertical emphasis and pronounced thick–thin modulation. Strokes snap from heavy stems to needle-like horizontals and serifs, creating crisp edges and a distinctly high-contrast rhythm. Serifs are small and sharp with little visible bracketing, and many joins feel cut or chiseled rather than softly curved. Counters are relatively tight and vertical, and several letters show compact, stacked geometry that reinforces a tall, columnar silhouette. Numerals and capitals appear designed for headline presence, with simplified forms and occasional ink-trap-like notches where thin strokes meet heavy stems.

Best suited for display typography such as magazine headlines, mastheads, theatrical posters, album or film title cards, and bold packaging moments where strong contrast and condensed width help maximize impact. It can work for short pull quotes or subheads when set large with comfortable line spacing, but extended body text will typically feel intense and delicate due to the fine hairlines.

The overall tone is bold and dramatic, with a poster-like intensity that reads as theatrical and slightly retro. Its stark contrast and narrow proportions lend an assertive, editorial voice—suited to statements, proclamations, and stylized titles rather than quiet reading.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum drama in a compact width, combining a classic serif framework with exaggerated contrast and sharp, cut-like details. It prioritizes strong silhouettes and striking texture in large sizes, aiming for a distinctive editorial and poster-driven voice.

In text settings the thin connecting strokes and delicate serifs become a defining feature, producing a shimmering texture at larger sizes and a more brittle, razor-edged look as size decreases. Spacing appears tight and the condensed widths amplify verticality, so it benefits from generous leading and careful tracking in multi-line compositions.
