This is a traditional serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and finely cut, bracketed serifs. Capitals are proportioned and slightly narrow with sharp apexes (notably in A, V, W) and a restrained, classical rhythm. Lowercase shows a two-storey a and g, crisp joins, and tapered terminals that keep the texture light and articulate; the e has an open eye and the f is tall and slender. Numerals are lining and similarly high-contrast, with delicate hairlines and rounded bowls that match the letterforms’ calm, measured construction.

It suits long-form reading such as books, essays, and magazine articles, where its classical structure supports comfortable scanning and a familiar typographic voice. The sharp contrast and refined serifs also make it effective for display use—chapter titles, pull quotes, and cultured headlines—especially when paired with generous leading and margins.

The overall tone is polished and literary, with a quiet formality that feels at home in editorial and cultural contexts. Its high-contrast detailing and controlled spacing convey sophistication and tradition rather than overt personality or playfulness.

The design appears intended as a conventional, high-contrast text serif that balances readability with a refined, premium finish. It aims to deliver a classic editorial voice through disciplined proportions, crisp serifs, and a composed rhythm across both uppercase and lowercase.

In text settings the font forms a clean, steady paragraph color with clear word shapes, while the fine hairlines and sharp serifs add sparkle at larger sizes. Curves are smooth and carefully drawn, and the design avoids exaggerated quirks, leaning on classic proportions and disciplined stroke endings for its character.
