This serif italic shows a crisp, high-contrast construction with hairline joins and pointed, wedge-like terminals. Strokes taper dramatically into fine serifs and entry/exit strokes, giving the letterforms a fluid, calligraphic rhythm while remaining firmly typographic. Capitals are narrow and upright in posture but slanted overall, with sculpted curves (notably in C, G, and Q) and long, sharp finishing strokes. Lowercase forms are compact and lively, with single-storey a and g, a narrow, looped f, and a gently arched y with a hooked descender; figures follow the same contrast and tapering, with oldstyle-like movement and soft curves.

Well suited to editorial settings such as magazines, book typography, and long-form reading where an expressive italic voice is needed. It also fits premium branding, cultural materials, and invitations, especially for headings, pull quotes, or refined short text where its hairlines and tapered terminals can print cleanly.

The overall tone is poised and cultivated, with a distinctly editorial and fashion-leaning elegance. Its sharp hairlines and sweeping italics suggest sophistication and a touch of drama, while the traditional serif structure keeps it grounded and readable.

The design appears intended as a conventional text serif italic with heightened elegance, using strong stroke modulation and sharp, bracketed serifs to convey tradition while adding a more dramatic, calligraphic flourish for emphasis and display within text.

The design relies on fine detailing—thin cross-strokes, tight apertures, and delicate serifs—so it visually rewards generous sizes and solid reproduction. The italic angle is consistent and the spacing appears tuned for continuous text, creating an even, flowing line despite the strong stroke modulation.
