A condensed, vertically driven blackletter with rigid stems, sharp angles, and frequent “broken” joins that create faceted, chiseled counters. Strokes alternate between thick verticals and hairline-like interior cuts, producing a crisp, high-contrast rhythm. Terminals often end in pointed wedges and diamond-like tips, and bowls are narrow with tight apertures. Capitals are tall and architectural, while lowercase maintains a compact, upright texture with minimal roundness and a consistent, columnar cadence across words.

Best suited for display applications where its angular detail can breathe: mastheads, album or event titles, posters, labels, and branding moments that call for a historic or ceremonial voice. It performs especially well in short lines, initials, and headline settings where the vertical rhythm becomes a strong graphic element.

The overall tone is historic and authoritative, evoking manuscript and inscriptional traditions. Its sharp geometry and compressed spacing read as solemn and ceremonial, with a slightly severe, dramatic presence suited to emphatic statements rather than casual text.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional blackletter color with a clean, geometric cut—emphasizing narrow proportions, sharp terminals, and consistent vertical rhythm for impactful display typography.

The set shows strong differentiation between capitals and lowercase through height and construction, while numerals follow the same faceted, vertical logic for a unified look. Dense internal notches and narrow counters add texture at larger sizes and can become visually busy when set too small or too tightly spaced.
