A serif face with gently modulated strokes and pronounced, sculpted serifs that flare and bracket into the stems. The outlines show a slightly calligraphic, carved quality: curves swell into terminals, joins feel soft rather than mechanical, and counters stay open and rounded. Capitals are stately with sharp apexes and tapered diagonals, while lowercase forms show traditional book-type proportions, including a two-storey “a” and “g,” a single-storey “g” with a prominent lower loop, and a “y” with a descending, left-curving tail. Overall spacing feels even and text color is steady, with distinctive, slightly decorative terminals that give the design a lively rhythm without becoming ornate.

It suits long-form editorial and book typography where a classical serif texture is desired, and it can also add gravitas to headings, cultural branding, and formal stationery. The distinctive terminals make it especially effective for title treatments and pull quotes where a touch of personality is welcome.

The font conveys a refined, literary tone—classic and authoritative with a hint of old-world personality. Its sculpted serifs and swelling terminals add warmth and tradition, suggesting editorial seriousness rather than a purely neutral voice.

The design appears intended to reinterpret traditional serif construction with more sculpted, flared terminals—aiming for a text-capable face that still carries a recognizable, slightly decorative signature in its finishing details.

Several letters feature conspicuous terminal flare and curved finishing strokes (notably on “a,” “e,” “t,” and “y”), which introduces a subtle display character even in paragraph settings. Numerals share the same serifed, gently modulated construction and read as traditional rather than geometric.
