A refined serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and sharp, hairline finishing strokes. Serifs are delicate and mostly bracketed, giving joins a smooth, carved feel while keeping the overall impression crisp. Curves are generous and controlled, with narrow internal apertures in several letters and a distinctly editorial rhythm. Lowercase shows a traditional structure with a two-storey a and g, compact bowls, and finely tapered terminals; numerals follow the same high-contrast logic with elegant, thin joining strokes.

Well-suited to magazine layouts, book typography, and other editorial contexts where elegance and contrast are desirable. It performs especially well for headlines, pull quotes, and brand wordmarks in luxury-leaning categories, and can work for body text when set with sufficient size, leading, and reproduction quality.

The tone is polished and cultivated, leaning toward a classic, high-end editorial aesthetic. Its sharp contrasts and fine details convey sophistication and formality, with a subtle calligraphic elegance rather than a blunt, utilitarian voice.

Designed to deliver a conventional reading serif with elevated contrast and finely finished detailing, balancing classical proportions with a more glamorous, display-capable edge. The consistent stroke logic and delicate serifs suggest an intention to feel timeless yet premium in contemporary publishing and branding.

At larger sizes the thin hairlines and tight counters read as luxurious and precise, while in smaller settings the delicate strokes may require careful use to preserve clarity. The ampersand and several curved letters emphasize graceful, swooping terminals that add a slightly dramatic, fashion-forward flair.
