This serif features a pronounced thick–thin modulation with delicate hairlines and sturdy vertical stems, creating a crisp, high-definition rhythm. Serifs are fine and sharply cut, with minimal bracketing and a generally vertical stress that reads as formal and controlled. Proportions feel balanced and slightly narrow-to-moderate, with relatively generous spacing in caps and more compact, text-oriented spacing in lowercase. The lowercase shows classic book-type forms (notably a two-storey a and g) and clean, precise joins that keep counters open despite the contrast; numerals share the same refined, hairline-driven construction and align comfortably with the text color.

It excels in display and editorial contexts such as magazine typography, fashion and beauty branding, book jackets, and refined headlines where contrast and elegance are assets. It can also work for short passages of body copy in print or high-resolution settings when set with comfortable size and leading.

The overall tone is polished and editorial, projecting sophistication and a quietly luxurious feel. It conveys a traditional, literary credibility while remaining sleek and contemporary in its sharpness and contrast.

The design appears intended to deliver a modern take on classic high-contrast serif typography—prioritizing elegance, vertical clarity, and a premium feel suited to editorial and branding applications.

In longer text, the font produces a bright, elegant texture where the verticals dominate and the hairlines add sparkle, making it especially sensitive to size and background contrast. The distinctive, calligraphic-like details in a few glyphs (such as the Q and some curved terminals) add character without breaking the consistent, formal system.
