A high-contrast serif with crisp hairlines and weighty verticals, showing flared, wedge-like stroke endings that create a tapered, calligraphic finish rather than blunt terminals. Serifs are sharp and elegant, with a consistent vertical stress and smooth, rounded joins in bowls and curves. Capitals feel stately and slightly condensed in rhythm, while lowercase forms keep a moderate x-height with lively ascenders and descenders; counters are relatively open, helping the dense contrast read cleanly at display sizes. Numerals and punctuation follow the same dramatic thick–thin logic, with especially striking curves in 2, 3, and 8 and a more formal, straight-backed 1.

Best suited to display typography where its contrast and sharp detailing can shine: magazine covers, editorial headlines, pull quotes, fashion and beauty branding, premium packaging, and poster titling. It can work for short text passages at larger sizes where careful spacing and generous leading preserve the hairlines.

The overall tone is refined and theatrical, combining classic bookish authority with contemporary fashion polish. The extreme contrast and pointed details give it a poised, premium feel that suggests headlines, cultural institutions, and luxury branding.

The design appears intended to deliver a modern, high-fashion interpretation of a classical serif, emphasizing dramatic contrast, tapered flared endings, and a confident upright stance for impactful, premium-facing typography.

Curves are drawn with a smooth, glossy sweep and tight hairline tapering, producing a strong black–white sparkle in text. Several letters show pronounced triangular/wedge terminals (notably in S, C, and the diagonals), which adds bite and momentum to large setting while remaining orderly and upright.
