A monolinear slab-serif design with typewriter-like proportions and a steady, even rhythm across characters. Strokes end in blunt, rectangular terminals and small slabs, while the outlines show deliberate irregularity—softened corners, ragged edges, and uneven ink spread that mimics worn ribbon or stamped impression. Counters are compact and slightly irregular, and the overall geometry stays upright and straightforward, emphasizing mechanical consistency while retaining a handmade, imperfect surface.

Works well for headings and short-to-medium text where a typewritten, lived-in voice is desirable—posters, book covers, editorial pull quotes, packaging labels, and film/scene props. It’s especially effective when you want uniform spacing and a mechanical cadence paired with a worn, tactile finish.

The font communicates an analog, archival feel—practical and matter-of-fact, but with a gritty patina. Its distressed texture suggests age, use, and physical imprint, evoking paperwork, labels, and documents that have been handled and re-inked over time.

The design appears intended to capture the disciplined spacing and slabby structure of typewritten lettering while adding a controlled distressed layer that suggests ink wear and repeated impression. The goal is a readable, workmanlike texture that feels physical and era-evocative rather than pristine.

Texture is consistent across letters and numerals, creating a cohesive “printed” look rather than random noise. The distressed edges remain readable in the sample text, but the irregular perimeter will visually intensify at larger sizes and soften into tone at smaller sizes.
