A serif typeface with subtly flared stroke endings and small wedge-like serifs that broaden from the stems. The construction is crisp and fairly open, with moderate modulation and clean, gently bracketed joins. Proportions are balanced with a steady vertical rhythm; round letters are generous and the curves resolve into pointed, calligraphic terminals rather than blunt cuts. Lowercase forms read conventionally with a two-storey a and g, compact joins in m/n, and a slightly angled crossbar on e; numerals appear oldstyle with varying heights and a flowing 3 and 5.

Well-suited to long-form reading in books and editorial layouts, where its open counters and controlled modulation support comfortable texture. It also works effectively for literary titling, programs, and institutional communications that benefit from a formal, classic voice.

The overall tone is poised and traditional, suggesting bookish authority and quiet sophistication rather than overt display. Its flared endings add a subtle humanist warmth, giving text an inviting, cultured feel.

The design appears intended to modernize a classical serif model by using flared terminals and restrained contrast to achieve both elegance and readability. It aims for a dignified text color with just enough calligraphic detail to feel crafted rather than mechanical.

In the sample text the spacing and color hold together evenly at larger sizes, while the fine serifs and tapered terminals add texture without becoming brittle. Uppercase forms feel reserved and stately, with a notably elegant Q tail and a sharp, high-contrast apex on A.
