This serif features a high-contrast, calligraphy-derived construction with slender hairlines and fuller main strokes that subtly swell into flared terminals rather than relying on heavy bracketed serifs. Curves are generous and clean, with smooth modulation through bowls and arches, and a slightly formal, vertical posture. Capitals show poised proportions and sharp apexes, while the lowercase maintains an open, readable rhythm with a two-storey a and g and neatly tapered joins. Numerals appear lining and similarly contrasty, with fine entry/exit strokes and balanced, classical shapes.

Well suited to magazine typography, book interiors, and other editorial systems where a refined serif voice is needed. It also works effectively for display use—titles, pull quotes, and cultured branding—especially in settings that benefit from high-contrast elegance.

The overall tone is polished and literary, projecting a calm, cultured confidence. Its crisp contrast and tapered endings feel traditional yet contemporary enough for modern editorial settings, with a subtle sense of sophistication rather than ornament.

The design appears intended to merge classical serif proportions with a softer, flared terminal treatment to achieve elegance without heaviness. It prioritizes a graceful rhythm and a polished page color that supports both extended reading and elevated display typography.

The spacing and stroke economy create a light-on-the-page color with clear word shapes, and the flared endings add warmth compared to purely hairline serifs. The design reads best when allowed some size or air, where the thin strokes and delicate terminals can remain distinct.
