A compact serif with a tight horizontal footprint, crisp bracketing, and distinctive forked/spurred terminals that give many strokes a slightly notched, sculpted finish. Stems stay relatively even with moderate thick–thin modulation, while curved letters show firm, controlled joins and tapered endings rather than blunt cuts. The lowercase is compact with upright stress and clean counters; the italic is not present, and the overall rhythm reads steady and print-oriented. Figures and capitals share the same carved, ornamental terminal language, producing a consistent, slightly decorative texture across lines.

Well suited to book typography, editorial layouts, and historical or literary-themed settings where a compact serif texture is desirable. It can also perform strongly for headlines, labels, and packaging that benefit from an antique, crafted feel, as well as formal pieces like invitations or certificates when the decorative terminals are intended to be seen.

The spurred terminals and narrow proportions create an old-style, slightly theatrical tone—more “classic print” than modern minimalism. It feels period-evocative and bookish, with a touch of eccentricity from the forked details that can read as historical or storybook depending on setting.

Likely drawn to deliver a traditional serif reading experience while distinguishing itself through forked, ornamental terminals and a condensed stance. The design prioritizes a consistent, print-like rhythm and recognizable, characterful details that add personality without pushing into extreme display distortion.

At text sizes the ornamental spurs add texture and can darken joins, while at larger sizes they become a defining feature. The overall color is firm and authoritative, with a tight fit that supports dense typography but benefits from a bit of breathing room in leading.
