A sharply contrasted serif with imposing, blocky verticals and extremely fine hairlines that create a pronounced thick–thin rhythm. The serifs are razor-like and minimally bracketed, with crisp triangular wedges and pointed beaks in places, giving the outlines a cut, chiseled feel. Counters are compact and often teardrop-shaped due to the weight distribution, while the curves show a strong vertical stress and tightened apertures. Overall proportions read broad and stately, with prominent caps and sturdy stems balanced by delicate cross-strokes and joins.

Best suited to large sizes where the hairlines can be appreciated: headlines, magazine display typography, striking posters, and premium brand wordmarks. It can also work for short pull quotes or section openers where a strong typographic voice is needed, but is less appropriate for small-size, long-form reading due to its delicate thin strokes.

The tone is unmistakably editorial and high-drama, mixing classical refinement with a bold, attention-commanding presence. Its sharp detailing and exaggerated contrast evoke luxury publishing, fashion headlines, and theatrical title work where tension between elegance and impact is desirable.

The design appears intended to deliver a modern, high-contrast display serif that maximizes drama and sophistication through vertical stress, crisp wedge serifs, and tightly controlled counters. It prioritizes visual impact and a polished, fashion-forward editorial texture over understated neutrality.

In text, the extreme contrast and needle-thin hairlines make spacing and line breaks feel highly graphic, emphasizing word shapes and punctuation. The numerals and capitals carry a poster-like weight, while the lowercase remains similarly sculpted, producing a consistent, assertive texture.
