This serif presents a high-contrast, sculpted rhythm with sharply tapered joins and wedge-like, flared terminals that expand into pointed serifs. Stems are relatively narrow and vertical, while bowls and curves show a calligraphic stress that gives letters a dynamic thick–thin cadence. Capitals feel stately and slightly condensed with crisp apexes and strong diagonal cuts (notably in A, V, W, X), and the overall finish is clean and precise rather than soft or rounded. Lowercase forms keep a measured x-height and elegant extenders; the two-storey a and g add a traditional text flavor, and the numerals echo the same sharp, tapered detailing for a cohesive texture.

Well-suited to magazine typography, book covers, and high-impact headlines where contrast and sharp terminals can carry a sophisticated voice. It can also support premium branding and packaging, especially when set large, and it remains convincing for short-to-medium text passages in print-oriented layouts.

The tone is formal and editorial, blending traditional book typography with a sharper, more theatrical edge. Its contrast and pointed terminals create a sense of luxury and authority, while the controlled proportions keep it composed and readable.

The design appears intended to modernize a classic serif foundation with flared, wedge-like finishing and strong contrast, aiming for an upscale editorial presence. Its controlled proportions and consistent modulation suggest a focus on both elegance and practical readability across display and text settings.

Stroke modulation is pronounced but consistent, producing a lively line without looking fragile at display sizes. The spacing and sidebearing feel balanced for continuous reading, and the punctuation and shapes in the sample text reinforce a crisp, high-end print sensibility.
