A slab-serif, typewriter-like design with sturdy verticals, compact joinery, and gently bracketed serifs. Strokes show deliberate wear: edges are ragged, corners are softened, and counters pick up occasional nicks and ink spread, creating a stamped/printed texture. Letterforms keep a consistent upright structure and steady baseline rhythm, while the distressed contour introduces lively irregularity in both stems and terminals. Numerals and capitals are bold and blocky, with the same mottled, slightly eroded surface treatment as the lowercase.

Well suited for posters, title treatments, and cover typography where a rugged, analog feel is desired. It also works for editorial callouts, labels, and packaging accents that benefit from an aged, stamped character; for longer passages, the texture becomes a stylistic statement and pairs best with clean supporting text.

The overall tone feels archival and utilitarian, like old correspondence, photocopies, or inked labels that have been handled and reprinted. Its grit adds a cinematic, investigative mood that reads as tough, human, and imperfect rather than polished.

The design appears intended to evoke a classic typewriter/slab-serif voice while layering in realistic wear and ink artifacts to suggest age, duplication, and physical printing. The goal is a dependable, readable skeleton with an intentionally imperfect surface for thematic atmosphere.

Texture is strong enough to be visible at display sizes and remains evident in paragraph samples, where the rough perimeter and occasional blotting create a convincing printed patina. The wide set and generous spacing help the distressed details stay legible, especially in uppercase-heavy settings.
