A slab-serif, typewriter-like roman with sturdy verticals and compact, utilitarian proportions. The letterforms keep a consistent underlying structure, but the contours are intentionally degraded: edges look bitten and uneven, with blobby ink spread and small voids that mimic worn type or rough printing. Strokes are mostly monolinear with modest modulation, and terminals finish bluntly, reinforcing a mechanical rhythm despite the heavy texture. In text, spacing reads steady while the distressed outlines introduce lively, irregular color across the line.

Works well for display and short-to-medium text where a distressed, printed texture is desired—posters, title sequences, book covers, album art, and packaging. It can also add character to pull quotes, captions, and sidebars in editorial layouts, especially when paired with a cleaner companion face for longer reading.

The overall tone is analog and gritty, suggesting age, friction, and imperfect reproduction. It carries a documentary, investigative feel—part vintage office typography, part weathered ephemera—creating an atmosphere that can lean from nostalgic to ominous depending on context.

The design appears intended to recreate the look of battered typewriter output or aged letterpress—preserving recognizable, functional forms while overlaying convincing wear, ink bleed, and surface noise for atmosphere and storytelling.

Texture density varies slightly from glyph to glyph, which enhances the found-print character and prevents large passages from feeling too sterile. The figures follow the same worn treatment, keeping numerals visually compatible with the alphabet in headline and label settings.
