A decorative serif with pronounced blackletter influence, built from upright, angular strokes and faceted corners that feel cut rather than drawn. Terminals are sharply spurred and wedge-like, with small triangular notches and chamfered joins creating a crisp, chiseled silhouette. Counters tend toward narrow, polygonal shapes, and curves are often interpreted as segmented arcs. Lowercase forms keep a compact, sturdy rhythm, while capitals are taller and more monument-like, giving the overall texture a dense, disciplined color.

Best suited to display settings such as headlines, posters, branding marks, and thematic packaging where a historic or gothic atmosphere is desired. It can work for short editorial pulls or titles, but the dense texture and pointed detailing are more effective in larger sizes than in long, small body text.

The tone reads historic and ceremonial, evoking medieval manuscripts, heraldry, and old-world signage. Its sharp facets and pointed serifs add drama and authority, producing a stern, traditional voice rather than a friendly or contemporary one.

The design appears intended to merge readable serif letterforms with blackletter-inspired cuts and spurs, offering a distinctly traditional voice without fully adopting strict manuscript calligraphy. It prioritizes atmosphere and period character, using consistent faceting and sharp terminals to communicate craft, heritage, and gravitas.

In text, the angular detailing remains visible at moderate sizes, and the repeating facets create a consistent, patterned texture across lines. Numerals echo the same beveled, polygonal construction, reinforcing a cohesive display character across letters and figures.
