A high-contrast serif with crisp, bracketed serifs and distinctly tapered stroke endings. The capitals are proportionally wide and stately, with sharp interior joins and carefully controlled curves, while the lowercase shows a traditional text rhythm with compact, slightly condensed forms and clear, open counters. Curved letters (like C, G, S) display pronounced thick–thin modulation, and diagonals (V, W, X) come to pointed terminals that read clean and precise. Figures are lining and similarly contrasty, with elegant curves and small finishing serifs that keep them consistent with the alphabet.

It performs well in long-form editorial settings where a traditional serif voice is desired, and it also scales effectively for headlines and title typography thanks to its contrast and sharp detailing. It’s a natural fit for literary or academic materials, programs, and formal announcements that benefit from a classic typographic tone.

The tone is classic and bookish, projecting formality and editorial authority. Its sharp serifs and strong contrast add a refined, slightly dramatic flavor suited to traditional publishing and heritage-styled branding.

The design appears intended as a conventional, high-contrast text serif that preserves classic proportions and a composed reading rhythm, while adding crisp finishing details for a refined, print-oriented look in both text and display sizes.

Spacing appears measured and even in text, producing a steady, comfortable reading texture while preserving a crisp sparkle from the contrast. The design balances conservative construction with a few more calligraphic touches in curves and terminals, giving it a polished, print-like presence.
