A calligraphic serif with lively, slightly irregular contours and a gently right-leaning italic stance. Strokes show clear thick–thin modulation with tapered terminals and small bracketed serifs that often feel flared rather than strictly horizontal. Curves are drawn with an ink-on-paper character—subtle wobble, softened joins, and asymmetries that keep the rhythm organic. Proportions are moderately compact with open counters, and the numerals echo the same brushlike modulation and angled stress.

Well-suited to book interiors, long-form editorial settings, and pull quotes where a warm old-style texture is desired. It also works for literary or heritage-minded titles, museum or craft packaging, and formal materials such as invitations that benefit from an inked, traditional voice.

The overall tone is classic and literary, like printed pages from an older press or hand-inked editorial typography. Its warmth and slight roughness read as human and crafted rather than mechanical, giving text a historically minded, storybook flavor. The italic movement adds a sense of motion and refinement without becoming delicate.

The design appears intended to evoke traditional, calligraphy-influenced serif printing while staying practical for reading at text sizes. Its controlled contrast and deliberately organic edge suggest a balance between classical typographic conventions and a handcrafted, expressive surface.

Round letters (like C, G, O, Q) show a noticeably angled stress and tapered finishing strokes, reinforcing the calligraphic origin. The lowercase forms keep a readable, steady texture in continuous text, while the caps carry a modest, dignified presence suited to titling and drop-cap style emphasis.
