A slanted serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a distinctly calligraphic rhythm. Serifs are bracketed and often sharpen into wedge-like terminals, with frequent ball terminals and subtle teardrop joins that give the outlines a lively, inked feel. Uppercase forms are sturdy and slightly condensed in stance, while the lowercase shows more personality through curved entries, occasional swashy strokes, and generous curves in letters like a, g, j, and y. Numerals follow the same italic energy, with open counters and emphatic terminals that keep them visually consistent with the text faces.

Well suited to editorial headlines, pull quotes, and book or magazine typography where a classic serif voice with extra flair is desired. It can also serve in branding, packaging, and event materials that benefit from a formal, heritage-leaning italic, and works best when given enough size and spacing to let the contrast and terminals read clearly.

The overall tone is traditional and literary, evoking editorial typography and heritage branding rather than a minimalist or technical voice. Its energetic italic movement and expressive terminals add a touch of drama and romance, while the strong contrast keeps it authoritative and polished.

Likely designed to deliver a conventional serif foundation with an intentionally expressive italic personality—combining high contrast, bracketed serifs, and swashy details to add elegance and emphasis in display and editorial contexts.

In continuous text the diagonal flow creates a strong forward momentum, and the contrast produces a crisp, high-end texture. The more decorative terminals in certain lowercase letters can become a focal point at larger sizes, adding character without fully turning into a script.
