A sharply faceted blackletter with pronounced vertical stress and strong thick–thin modulation. Strokes break into crisp planes and pointed terminals, with frequent diamond-like joins and wedge cuts that create a chiseled, metallic feel. Counters are tight and the overall color is dark and compact, while capitals carry more complexity and weighty presence than the lowercase. Numerals follow the same fractured construction, maintaining a consistent texture in mixed settings.

Best suited to short display settings where its angular construction and dense color can be appreciated—logotypes, mastheads, posters, album covers, packaging, and certificate-style headings. It also works for themed pieces that benefit from a historical or ceremonial voice, especially when set with generous tracking and ample line spacing.

The font conveys a traditional Gothic tone—formal, austere, and historically charged. Its spiky rhythm and dense texture read as authoritative and ceremonial, with an old-world gravitas that feels suited to proclamations and emblems rather than casual communication.

The design appears intended to evoke classic blackletter tradition with a bold, carved aesthetic, prioritizing dramatic texture and period atmosphere. Its consistent fractured geometry suggests a focus on strong visual identity and impact in display typography rather than neutral, long-form readability.

At text sizes the interior detail and narrow apertures can visually close up, producing a strong, continuous black texture. The irregular, hand-cut feeling in curves and diagonals adds character and movement, but also makes spacing feel more rhythmic than strictly uniform, especially around capitals and rounder forms.
