A condensed, high-impact blackletter with broken strokes and jagged, uneven terminals that read like distressed ink or chipped edges. Vertical stems dominate, with sharp corners, notch-like cut-ins, and slabby feet that create a rigid, columnar rhythm. Counters are tight and openings are often pinched, while the texture varies slightly from glyph to glyph, giving the letterforms a hand-cut, weathered consistency. Lowercase forms stay compact with a modest x-height, and numerals follow the same narrow, blocky construction with roughened edges.

Best suited to display settings where texture and atmosphere are the goal—posters, album/merch graphics, event branding, and logo-type that benefits from a gothic, distressed voice. It can work for short taglines or headers, but extended paragraphs will feel dense due to the tight counters and heavy surface texture.

The overall tone is dark and forceful, evoking medieval signage, occult or horror titling, and gritty underground aesthetics. Its distressed finish adds a raw, abrasive edge that feels rebellious and intense rather than refined or ceremonial.

The design appears intended to merge blackletter structure with a deliberately rough, hand-worn finish, emphasizing intimidation, age, and impact. It prioritizes mood and graphic presence over neutral readability, aiming for strong silhouette and distressed character in large-format text.

At larger sizes the broken edges and internal notches become a defining feature, while at smaller sizes the narrow apertures and heavy texture can reduce clarity. The sample text shows strong word-shape contrast between tall verticals and abrupt diagonals, producing a punchy, poster-like rhythm.
