A serif text face with bracketed, wedge-like serifs and a noticeably calligraphic, old-style construction. Strokes show a clear thick–thin modulation with rounded joins and softly swelling curves, giving counters a lively, slightly organic feel. Terminals often finish in gentle teardrops or tapered ends, and many letters show subtle asymmetries that keep the rhythm from feeling mechanical. The proportions are generously set with open bowls and clear internal space, while the overall color stays even enough for paragraph use despite the pronounced contrast.

Well-suited to book typography, magazines, and other editorial settings where a traditional serif voice and comfortable reading rhythm are desirable. It can also serve effectively for heritage-leaning branding, packaging, and display copy when a classic, printed feel is needed.

The font reads as classic and literary, with a warm, human hand suggested by its tapered terminals and softly modeled serifs. Its tone feels traditional and trustworthy, evoking printed books and editorial typography rather than sleek contemporary branding.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional text serif with a distinctly humanist, calligraphic undercurrent—balancing strong contrast and sculpted details with the steadiness required for continuous reading.

Capitals are sturdy and formal with restrained flair (notably in the Q’s tail and the sculpted diagonals in V/W). Lowercase forms lean toward text readability, with a round, two-storey-style ‘g’ and a compact ‘t’ topped by a curved cross stroke. Figures follow the same old-style sensibility, with flowing curves and varied widths that integrate naturally with running text.
