A sculpted serif with strong vertical stress and pronounced thick–thin modulation. Stems and terminals broaden into flared, wedge-like endings, producing bracketed serifs that feel cut from the stroke rather than attached. Counters are relatively compact and the joins show sharp, triangular shaping, giving the letterforms a chiseled, high-impact silhouette. The lowercase has sturdy, slightly condensed bowls with a two-storey a and g, while capitals read wide and formal with crisp diagonals and assertive serifs. Numerals follow the same tapered, flared logic with clear figure shapes and strong baseline presence.

Best suited to headlines, subheads, and display settings where its sculpted contrast and flared serifs can carry the layout. It can also work for editorial titling and brand marks that want a traditional foundation with a more dramatic, attention-grabbing edge.

The overall tone is commanding and editorial, combining classical serif gravitas with a dramatic, contemporary bite. Its flared terminals and sharp joins add a sense of theatricality and tension, making text feel deliberate and emphatic rather than neutral.

The design appears intended to reinterpret a classical serif voice through flared, tapered stroke endings and high-contrast construction, prioritizing impact and character in display typography while keeping conventional letterforms for readability.

In the sample text, the dense black texture and pronounced stroke transitions create a strong rhythm, especially in repeated verticals and rounded letters. The pointed terminals and wedge joins can read slightly spiky at large sizes, which contributes to its distinctive personality and headline pull.
