A robust serif with pronounced stroke modulation and flared, wedge-like terminals that broaden toward the ends of stems. The forms show crisp, slightly sheared triangular serifs and subtly bracketed transitions, giving a carved or calligraphic feel rather than a purely mechanical one. Counters are generally generous for the weight, while curves (C, G, S, O) maintain a controlled, sculpted roundness; diagonals (V, W, Y, Z) feel taut and sharply finished. Lowercase has compact, sturdy bowls and short, firm arms, with a two-storey "g" and a strongly modeled "a" that reinforce the traditional text-seriffed structure. Numerals are weighty and old-style in spirit, with assertive curves and finishing strokes that match the flared endings of the letters.

Well suited for headlines, editorial titles, book covers, and poster typography where a traditional serif voice with extra punch is desirable. It can also serve in branding and packaging that aims for heritage, authority, or a crafted, engraved impression, especially when used with comfortable spacing.

The font conveys a classic, bookish authority with a slightly theatrical edge, as if suited to titles carved in stone or set in formal print. Its strong contrast and sculpted terminals add drama and gravitas, while the underlying proportions keep it grounded and traditional.

The design appears intended to reinterpret a classical serif through flared, chiseled terminals and strong modulation, producing an engraved or calligraphic texture that stands out in display and titling contexts while retaining familiar, readable letter structures.

At display sizes, the sharp terminals and tapered joins create a lively rhythm and a textured color on the line. The heavy serifs and pronounced shaping can make dense paragraphs feel assertive, but they also help headings and short blocks read as confident and distinctive.
