A warm old-style serif with softly bracketed serifs, moderate stroke contrast, and an intentionally uneven, slightly inked edge that gives the letters a printed, handmade feel. Curves are generously rounded, terminals tend toward bulbous or subtly flared finishes, and counters stay open for readability. Proportions are lively rather than rigid: widths vary across glyphs, diagonals and joins show gentle calligraphic modulation, and the overall texture on the line is dark and rhythmic without feeling blunt or slabby.

Well-suited to book and chapter titles, editorial pull quotes, and cultural or heritage-oriented branding where a traditional voice is desired. It can also work for posters, packaging labels, and invitations that benefit from a handcrafted, classic serif texture. For long-form reading, it will feel most comfortable where a slightly darker, more characterful text color is acceptable.

The font conveys an antique, bookish tone—evoking letterpress or aged print—while staying approachable and human. Its slight roughness reads as crafted and authentic rather than distressed, lending a narrative, story-forward character.

The design appears aimed at combining old-style readability with a deliberately organic surface and calligraphic warmth, capturing the charm of traditional printing while remaining clear and structured in continuous text.

In text, the face builds a distinctly mottled color from the irregular stroke edges and the active serif shapes, which can add charm at display sizes and still hold together in short paragraphs. The figures follow the same hand-inked logic, with sturdy forms and subtle asymmetries that match the alphabet.
