A dense, heavy serif with broadly flared stroke endings that read like wedge serifs rather than slabs. Strokes are largely monolinear in feel, with weight concentrated into compact, rounded bowls and counters, producing a dark, even color on the page. Terminals and serifs are softly shaped and slightly tapered, giving a carved, ink-trap-adjacent impression without sharp contrast. Uppercase forms are wide and stable, while lowercase shows robust, rounded construction and short, thick details that favor solidity over delicacy.

Best suited to headlines, titles, and short passages where impact and a classic serif presence are desired. It can work well for branding, packaging, and signage that benefits from a sturdy, heritage-leaning tone. For longer text, it’s likely most comfortable in larger settings where the tight counters and heavy texture have room to breathe.

The font projects confidence and tradition, with a slightly vintage, display-forward voice. Its flared endings add a crafted, old-style warmth, while the very heavy weight keeps the tone bold and declarative. Overall it feels authoritative and approachable rather than formal or fragile.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional serif feel with extra mass and a distinctive flared finish at stroke ends. By keeping contrast restrained and emphasizing soft, wedge-like terminals, it aims for strong readability at display sizes while retaining a crafted, vintage-leaning character.

The heavy weight and compact apertures create strong silhouettes that hold up well at large sizes. In the sample text, the dark texture is consistent line to line, but the dense counters suggest it will read best when given ample size and/or generous spacing. Numerals match the letterforms in weight and presence, maintaining the same flared, wedge-like finishing throughout.
