A very heavy serif with pronounced flaring at stroke terminals and compact, bracket-like transitions that create a carved, slightly scooped silhouette. Serifs read as wedgey and tapered rather than slabby, and many joins show subtle notches that lend an ink-trap-like cut-in effect. Counters are relatively tight and the overall rhythm is dense, with rounded forms (O, C, G) staying broad and smooth while vertical stems remain dominant. In text, the weight and terminal shaping produce a strong dark color and a slightly irregular, hand-cut impression despite consistent construction.

Best suited to display settings where weight and distinctive terminal shaping can be appreciated—such as headlines, posters, book or editorial titles, and bold brand marks. It can also work for short, emphatic blocks of text (pull quotes, section headers), but its dense color will feel heavy in long passages at small sizes.

The face conveys a bold, no-nonsense personality with a vintage, poster-like presence. Its flared endings and stout proportions suggest traditional print and display typography, giving headlines an assertive, slightly rugged tone.

Likely designed to deliver high-impact typography with a classic serif voice, using flared terminals and sculpted joins to add character and punch. The consistent, bold drawing aims for immediate attention and strong silhouette recognition in display-led applications.

Uppercase letters have a stable, monumental stance, while the lowercase shows sturdy, simplified shapes that keep legibility at larger sizes. Numerals follow the same heavy, flared logic, with clear differentiation and strong baseline anchoring.
