This serif features softly bracketed, subtly flared serifs and a gently calligraphic stroke flow. Curves are full and open, with rounded terminals and modest modulation that keeps the texture even on the page. Uppercase forms read broad and stately (notably in the wide, circular C/O and the splayed A/W), while lowercase shows traditional book-face structures such as a two-storey a and a looped g. The numerals follow the same old-style rhythm, with rounded bowls and smooth joins that maintain a calm, consistent color in text.

Well-suited to book and long-form editorial typography where a familiar serif rhythm and comfortable spacing support continuous reading. It also works effectively for literary titles, cultural branding, and formal stationery where a classic, slightly embellished serif presence is desired.

The overall tone is literary and traditional, with a slightly decorative, storybook flavor rather than a strictly academic austerity. Its softened serifs and round, welcoming forms lend it a warm, humane voice suited to narrative settings and heritage cues.

The design appears intended to reinterpret an old-style, book-oriented serif with softened, slightly decorative details to add charm without sacrificing readability. Its proportions and restrained detailing suggest a focus on dependable text color with enough personality for display use at larger sizes.

The ampersand is notably calligraphic and prominent, reinforcing the decorative, classical lean. Letterforms maintain clear differentiation (e.g., I/J, O/0, and open e/c), and the serif shaping stays consistent across capitals, lowercase, and figures for a cohesive texture.
