A decorative serif with pronounced stroke contrast and sharply tapered terminals, combining traditional serif structure with curling, swash-like entry strokes on many capitals. The uppercase set is notably embellished: loops and inward curls appear at the tops and corners, and several letters extend with broad, flowing arms that create a lively silhouette. Lowercase forms are comparatively restrained but still show brisk contrast, pointed joins, and occasional hooked terminals, giving text a crisp, engraved feel. Numerals follow the same high-contrast logic, mixing sturdy verticals with teardrop-like terminals and occasional curves that echo the caps’ ornamentation.

Best suited to display typography where the curled capitals and sharp contrast can be appreciated—headlines, title treatments, and short phrases. It can also work for upscale or whimsical brand identities, packaging, event materials, and decorative pull quotes where a classic-yet-ornamental voice is desired.

The overall tone feels theatrical and slightly fantastical, balancing classical elegance with playful flourishes. It reads as old-world and ceremonial, with enough movement to suggest invitations, folklore, or boutique branding rather than strict editorial neutrality.

The design appears intended to reinterpret a classic high-contrast serif with added ornamental swashes, especially in the uppercase, to deliver a distinctive, decorative personality for attention-setting typography.

Rhythm varies between the highly decorated capitals and the more conventional lowercase, creating a strong hierarchy when setting titles with mixed case. The swash elements add visual texture and can become prominent at smaller sizes or tighter spacing, so it naturally favors more open settings.
