This serif has a commanding, display-forward build with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a clear vertical stress. Stems and bowls are heavy and rounded, while the serifs and connecting hairlines snap to very fine, sharp terminals, creating a crisp, cut-paper contrast. The letterforms are broadly proportioned with generous widths and sturdy counters; curves are smooth and full, and many terminals end in small, pointed wedges rather than soft brackets. In text, the rhythm alternates between dense black strokes and delicate hairlines, producing a lively, sculpted texture.

Best suited to headlines and large-scale applications where its contrast and sharp serifs can be appreciated—magazine mastheads, book covers, poster typography, and high-impact branding. It can work for short bursts of text such as pull quotes or section openers, especially when generous size and spacing preserve the delicate hairlines.

The tone is bold and ceremonial, with an old-world, print-era sophistication. Its extreme contrast and sharp finishing give it a slightly theatrical, headline-centric presence that feels confident and formal rather than casual.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact through strong vertical stems, wide forms, and razor-fine finishing details, echoing high-contrast display serifs used in editorial and theatrical settings. It prioritizes a striking black-and-white interplay and a refined, classical silhouette for prominent typographic moments.

The numerals and capitals read especially monumental, with clear silhouettes and a strong baseline presence. At larger sizes the fine serifs and hairline links contribute sparkle and refinement; at smaller sizes those details may become visually fragile compared with the heavy main strokes.
