A compact, high-contrast serif with narrow proportions and lively, calligraphic modulation. Stems and diagonals show pronounced thick–thin transitions, with sharp, pointed apexes (notably in A, V, W, and Y) and subtly irregular stroke endings that feel hand-shaped rather than purely geometric. Serifs are small and often bracketed or slightly flared, and several letters feature delicate hooks and tapered terminals that add texture without becoming overly ornate. The overall rhythm is tight and vertical, with a relatively small x-height and long-ish ascenders that give mixed-case text an old-style color.

Best suited to display and short-to-medium text where its contrast and detailed terminals can be appreciated—book cover titles, editorial headlines, cultural posters, invitations, and boutique packaging. It can also work for body text in print-oriented layouts if set with comfortable size and spacing to preserve the hairlines and small serifs.

The tone reads literary and classical, with a faintly whimsical, storybook edge created by the pinched joins, curled terminals, and slightly idiosyncratic details. It suggests tradition and craft—more “printed page” than “corporate system”—while still feeling crisp and intentional in display sizes.

The design appears intended to reinterpret a classic serif model with added personality: narrow proportions, dramatic contrast, and subtly decorative terminals that evoke historical printing and calligraphic construction. The goal seems to be an expressive, editorial serif that feels traditional yet distinctive for titling and curated typography.

In the sample text, the strong contrast and narrow set create a darker stripe in capitals and a sparkling texture in mixed case, where thin hairlines and small serifs contribute fine detail. Numerals follow the same engraved, calligraphic logic, with curving forms and tapered strokes that suit titling and pull-quote contexts.
