A heavy, display-oriented serif with broad proportions, dense color, and a strongly sculpted rhythm. Strokes are thick with modest contrast and tapered joins that create sharp notches and wedge-like internal cuts, giving several letters an ink-trap-like bite at corners. Serifs are clearly present and often bracketed, with a mix of pointed and flared terminals; rounds are full and compact, producing tight counters in letters like a, e, s, and g. The lowercase shows two-storey a and g, sturdy verticals, and lively, slightly calligraphic shaping within an overall upright construction.

Best suited to headlines, subheads, posters, and branding where a strong serif voice is needed. It can also work for packaging and editorial display typography, especially when you want a classic, high-impact look with distinctive detailing.

The tone is bold and old-style in spirit, projecting confidence and a slightly theatrical, poster-era sensibility. Its dark massing and chiseled details feel emphatic and attention-grabbing, with an editorial seriousness that can read as traditional yet punchy.

The design appears intended as a forceful display serif that combines traditional letterform structure with aggressively tapered cuts and robust, wide proportions. The goal seems to be maximum presence and recognizability through dark color, sculpted terminals, and a memorable internal rhythm.

At larger sizes the carved notches, ball-like terminals, and wedged serifs become a defining texture; at smaller sizes those details may merge, increasing the already strong typographic color. The numerals share the same broad, weighty construction and maintain a consistent, sturdy presence alongside the letters.
