A sturdy slab-serif with heavy, even strokes and a compact, squared-off skeleton. Serifs are thick and mostly flat with subtle bracketing, while many curves are chamfered into octagonal forms, giving round letters a faceted, cut-from-metal feel. Counters are moderate and openings stay relatively tight, contributing to a dense color on the page. The lowercase shows traditional, sturdy proportions with clear differentiation, and the numerals follow the same blunt, engineered geometry for consistent texture in text and display.

Well suited for headlines, subheads, and short blocks of text where a strong, steady presence is needed. It can support branding applications such as packaging and labels, as well as wayfinding and signage that benefits from blunt, high-impact letterforms. In editorial layouts, it works effectively for pull quotes, section titles, and display typography.

The overall tone is confident and workmanlike, evoking signage, print-era utility, and no-nonsense editorial typography. Its faceted rounds and solid slabs add a slightly rugged, vintage-industrial character without becoming decorative.

The design appears aimed at delivering a tough, dependable slab-serif voice with squared terminals and faceted curves, prioritizing impact and consistency across capitals, lowercase, and figures.

The rhythm reads best at medium-to-large sizes where the angular rounding and serif shapes stay crisp. In longer passages, the dense weight and tight apertures can feel forceful, making it particularly suited to emphasis rather than delicate reading.
