A serif text face with bracketed serifs and gently tapered strokes that suggest a broad-nib, calligraphic origin rather than rigid geometry. Curves are smooth and slightly swelling, with a steady rhythm and moderately open counters that keep the texture readable in paragraph settings. Uppercase forms are stately and traditional, while the lowercase shows humanist modulation—noticeable in the ear and bowl shapes, the angled terminals, and the lively, slightly asymmetric joins. Numerals appear oldstyle with varied heights and modest curves, blending naturally with lowercase text.

Well-suited to continuous reading in books, long articles, and editorial layouts where a traditional serif texture is desired. It also fits institutional and cultural materials—reports, programs, and refined branding—where a classic, trustworthy voice and comfortable paragraph color matter.

The overall tone is bookish and traditional, conveying a calm, cultivated presence. Its warm, slightly organic stroke behavior reads as humane and approachable rather than austere, giving long-form text a familiar, editorial character.

The design appears intended as a versatile, humanist book serif: traditional proportions and familiar letterforms paired with subtle calligraphic modulation to keep text inviting and readable over long passages.

Diagonal strokes and arms (such as in K, R, and X) have subtle curvature and terminal shaping that softens the silhouette. Round letters like O and Q keep a classic, slightly oval proportion, and the Q’s tail is restrained, maintaining a conservative overall voice. The italic is not shown; all samples appear roman/upright.
