A decorative serif with a hand-inked, distressed finish and sharp, tapered terminals. Strokes show pronounced thick–thin modulation with uneven edges, small nicks, and occasional ink-bleed bulges that give the outlines an intentionally worn look. Serifs are wedge-like and irregular, with subtly calligraphic curvature in bowls and joins; curves often feel slightly flattened or pinched, reinforcing the handmade character. Spacing and widths vary noticeably across glyphs, producing a lively, uneven rhythm that reads more like printed ephemera than strict type-mechanical forms.

Best suited for display settings where texture and mood are assets: book and album covers, film or event posters, themed campaigns, and title cards for games or streaming content. It can work for short bursts of body copy in larger sizes, but the distressed detailing is most effective in headings, pull quotes, and logo-like wordmarks.

The overall tone is darkly whimsical and antique, suggesting old broadsides, folklore, and theatrical or occult atmospheres. Its roughened ink texture and spiky terminals add tension and drama while still staying legible, creating a mood that’s more eerie and mysterious than overtly aggressive.

The design appears intended to evoke an aged, hand-printed serif—combining calligraphic stroke logic with deliberate wear and irregular inking. The goal is to deliver instant atmosphere and period flavor while maintaining enough structure for clear headline readability.

Uppercase forms carry the strongest personality with angular crowns and distinctive serif hooks, while lowercase remains readable with simple constructions and lightly distressed stems. Numerals share the same worn, inked texture and slightly idiosyncratic proportions, helping mixed text keep a consistent, vintage feel.
